Challenge

Band leader, singer, writer, and problem solver TJ Nix came to me with a suggestion: he was going to draft the best musicians he could find, and build a killer Blues band in the Central New Jersey area that could start in the neighborhood club, travel for festivals and special events, and do regional tours.

His partner in this would be virtuoso Jersey guitar master Paul Plumeri, a master in his own right.

We were starting from scratch: logo(s), web site, social media, e-mail marketing, and print marketing, too.

Solution

Over a period that lasted almost a decade, we designed and produced logos, a couple web sites, t-shirts, page ads, flyers, web banners, social media posts, e-mail blasts, and CDs/DVDs.

All from a simple talk and a sketch from TJ highlighting the amazing band he was going to create.

I created the logo, the color palette, the overall photo style, and wrote all promotional copy, including all social media posts and emails.
