tony who?

Trained and experienced in graphic design, ad design, copywriting, virtually all types of printing, web content management, typography and color, I'm just a guy who knows how to produce projects for businesses and individuals looking to make a splash in their markets.

TRAINING, SCHOOLS AND TOOLS
Before anything else, I spent some valuable time in our U.S. Navy.  As part of Naval Avation, I worked with and supervised teams, worked on, and flew in, Navy SAR (Search and Rescue) helicopters, and helped to start a school training plane captains and rescue crewmen. Was temporarily assigned to San Diego to help re-write some of the manuals pilots and crew used for the aircraft. Worked and lived in San Diego, Memphis, Jacksonville, Lakehurst NJ, Norfolk & Va Beach VA, Brunswick ME, Naples, Athens, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and the US Virgin Islands.

I got design degrees from 2 great colleges in New Jersey, interned and then got hired at my design mentor's studio in Princeton, then worked briefly in Manhattan. Got trained (and certified) in design for the Internet, and worked as a graphic designer, production designer, web content guy, and art director at ad agencies, corporations, printers and small businesses in and around Philadelphia.

All the while teaching graphic design, color theory, typography, digital illustration and Adobe Creative Suite programs at a couple of small colleges in New Jersey at night.

THE LAST YEAR OR SO
A year ago December, my work was published in the American Graphic Design Awards Annual. I was also honored to be invited to judge two national advertising competitions for NARM, the national retail music business association. I handle design, web and marketing for the all-volunteer Trenton Musicians Foundation, and, of course, I invented Mime Rap, 100% music-free music.
